Gina Prindle

Nurse Practitioner

Gina joined Heritage Health in 2015. She has provided primary care, school-based care, and currently is a provider in psychiatric services here at Heritage Health. She has lived in the Coeur d’Alene area for over 20 years. She has a wide range of experience in meeting the health care needs of the community. Gina has been an advanced practice nurse since 1994, initially as a Certified Nurse Midwife and then since 1999 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has also been an Advanced Practice Holist Nurse Practitioner since 2022.


Since that time, she has completed a 20-year career as a Navy Nurse and has been faculty at both North Idaho College and Gonzaga University teaching both pre-licensure nurses and Nurse Practitioners. Originally from Fishkill, NY, Gina loves to be outdoors biking and taking long walks.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, and their lively black lab. Her daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live in the Boston, MA area.


Gina graduated from the University of Colorado Health Science Center with her Master’s in Nursing and received her Post-Masters Certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the State University of New York. Additionally, Gina was awarded her Ph.D. in Education from the University of Idaho. Gina also completed a 12-month fellowship in school -based health leadership in 2016.


Most recently, Gina has become a Certified Clinician in CBT-I (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia). This intervention has been researched extensively and is the most effective treatment for insomnia (more effective than medications).
