Dr. Patricia Iris, MD, MPH

With more than 25 years of experience in hospital administration and clinical practice transformation, Dr. Iris joined Heritage Health in 2026. She is a mission-driven leader who is passionate about patient care, and her extensive physician leadership experience enables her to support our team of provider and operational leaders.

Her expertise in population health, quality, and care transformation enables her to lead clinical performance improvement initiatives. Dr. Iris has led numerous clinical initiatives focused on improving patient outcomes, developing value-based strategies, and optimizing care delivery for network clinics, hospitals, and health systems.

Dr. Iris earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, her medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center, and her Master of Public Health from the University of Washington. She pursued a fellowship in quality improvement with Dr. Brent James, MD, MStat, at Intermountain Healthcare and has served as a Senior Examiner and Panel of Judges member for the National Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson.

Beyond her work, Dr. Iris is a dedicated mother of twin daughters who enjoys exploring the outdoors and spending time in nature. She also enjoys yoga, hiking, traveling, and time with friends and family.
