Zack Vaughan, LMSW

Therapist

Zack Vaughan joined Heritage Health in 2022 and currently works as a Mental Health Therapist in Couer d’Alene’s Behavioral Health North building.  He also provides services as one of Heritage Health’s school-based therapists at various schools in the Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls districts.   

 

Zack specializes in helping teenagers and young adults overcome a variety of challenges in their life including anxiety, depression, trauma, and social communication skills.  Zack also has a great deal of experience helping individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.   

 

Zack was born and raised in North Idaho and has lived in various locations throughout the state over the past twenty years, including a short stint in Southern California.  Zack considers himself more of a summer person who enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including golfing, boating, hiking, camping, and grilling.   

 

Zack earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Lewis-Clark State College in 2015 and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University in 2017.   

 

Prior to beginning his career in the field of mental health, Zack found joy in providing service as a fore caddie at local golf courses for many years.  He continues to work as a fore caddie for the Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course on occasional weekends and holidays throughout the spring, summer and fall months.
