Michael chose to work for Heritage because he believes that giving back to the community and volunteer work is an important civic duty, and the work that Heritage Health was providing to his community was invaluable and something that he wanted to be a part of.

Michael attended Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and while attending, he worked graveyard in the Emergency Room at McKay Dee Hospital, which is where he noticed a big disconnect and numerous inefficiencies in delivering healthcare to those in need.

He graduated from Weber State with a degree in commercial German & Business Administration. After undergrad, he attended law school at the University of Idaho School of Law, graduating in 2003.

Since graduation, he has worked at the law firm of Lukins & Annis, P.S., where he practices business, real estate, and commercial law, with an emphasis in commercial litigation and transactions.

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding, fly fishing, martial arts, reading, and being a dad.
