Catherine Woodland

Catherine Woodland joined Heritage Health in December 2023 and currently works as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This is her third degree as a NP. Her journey started as a registered nurse and ultimately as a midwife back in 2014 where she realized that her journey was not completed, and she obtained a Women’s health certificate and finally her Family Nurse Practitioner. This enabled her to obtain her final dream to be able to take care of the whole community.  

Catherine is so grateful to be able to utilize her degrees to take care of all patients from newborn to the elderly.  

Originally from California but has lived here in Idaho for over 20 years and has raised three boys. She loves the outdoors and going on long hikes with her dog and husband. There is no other place in the world where she would rather live.  

Catherine earned their Bachelor’s degree from CSUDH in 2002 and her Master’s in nursing in 2014.  

A fun fact about Catherine is she played college volleyball and played on competitive leagues over the years. She also loves to write and would like get back into writing and finish a book that she had been working on for years between school and raising children. I have always been fascinated with dreams and interpretations. Her book is called “The Dream Walker.”
