Angela Woods, LMSW
Angela Woods joined Heritage Health in 2024 and currently works as a Counselor with the ACT team. Angela has six years of experience working in Social Work and went into Counseling because overcoming her own traumatic past caused her to want to assist others in navigating their life problems.
Angela has worked in Corrections, working in a Medium Security prison and has worked in Community Mental Health Agencies with humans of all ages and a variety of presenting problems and loves working with clients because she feels she was born to be a Counselor and feels passionate about her work as a Counselor.
Angela was born in Everett, Washington and was raised in Boise, Idaho. Angela moved to Spokane Valley with her husband 10 years ago and loves living in the Spokane- Coeur d’Alene area. Angela loves the outdoors, hiking and just being in nature, relaxing at home with her husband, self-improvement, and reading books about Ancient History. Angela loves her family; her husband and two fur babies, Asher, a male ragdoll cat and Frankie, a male rescue min-pin.
Angela Graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in 2004, a B.S. in Social Science. Angela’s areas of focus were Sociology and History. Angela then started Graduate School at Boise State University in Boise, Idaho. Ms. Woods then transferred to Walla Walla University and graduated in 2007 with her Master’s in Social Work.
A fun fact about Angela is her favorite Superhero is Wonder Woman.
