Shayne Aguirre, LPC

Clinic Director

Shayne Aguirre joined Heritage Health in 2023 and serves as the Clinic Director. With over 15 years of experience in substance use and mental health, Shayne is deeply committed to helping individuals achieve success in their lives. His journey into counseling was fueled by a passion for supporting people's well-being.


Starting his journey working with people at the age of 20, Shayne obtained his CNA license and began working as a hospice caregiver. He later transitioned to working with SED youth, which inspired him to pursue higher education and earn his counseling degree.


Shayne specializes in assisting individuals with anxiety and depression, with a particular affinity for working with youth, drawing from his own childhood challenges and triumphs.


Originally from Boise, Idaho, Shayne enjoys backpacking and fishing. However, his primary focus in recent years has been the small homestead he and his wife of 25 years started, where they raise cattle, hogs, and chickens.


Shayne holds a Bachelor's degree in Social and Behavioral Studies from George Fox University and a

Master's degree in Counseling from Northwest Nazarene University.


A fun fact about Shayne is that he has been skydiving twice and lived with his family in Guatemala, Honduras, and Kenya for three years.
