Sara McPherson, LMSW

Sara McPherson joined Heritage Health in 2023 and currently works as an Addiction Counselor. Sara has 15 years of working in counseling and social service agencies and went into Social Work because she enjoys working with people and helping them find their strengths, advocate for themselves and make the positive changes to enhance their lives.

Sara specializes in helping people with dual diagnosis disorders and loves working with clients because working with people and helping them meet their goals teaches me important life lessons and enriches my life’s journey.

Originally from St. Maries, ID. Sara loves visiting natural hot springs, being with family and friends, reading, and spending time in the woods exploring.

Sara earned their Bachelor’s degree from Lewis-Clark State College in Social Work in 2006 and a Master’s degree from Boise State University for Social Work in 2007.

A fun fact about Sara is her Uncle taught her how to apply makeup😊.
