Erika Porter

Program Director/Evaluator

Erika Porter, LCSW, MAC, joined Heritage Health in 2016 and currently works as a Clinical Supervisor and a Mental Health/Addiction Therapist. She is a License Clinical Social Worker and a Master Addiction Counselor, EMDR trained, and DBT trained.


Erika has 12 years of experience working in the behavioral health field and went into mental health/addiction because she is passionate about raising awareness, educating the community, and decreasing the stigma associated with mental health and addiction. 

Erika specializes in helping people with trauma and co-occurring disorders (addictions and mental health). She loves working with patients because change requires courage and she is honored to journey alongside patients to improve their lives and provide them with tools to overcome their challenges.  


Originally from Nara, Japan, Erika loves hiking, biking, baking, gaming, and reading.  

Erika earned her Bachelor's degree from Lewis-Clark State College in Social Work and a Master's degree from Boise State University for Social Work, Advanced Standing. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services Administration.  


A fun fact about Erika, she likes cake and dislikes peanut butter. In her free time, she likes to volunteer.
