Carl McMinimy

Carl is a patient at the Heritage Clinic in Post Falls.

After working for thirty years as a social worker and administrator for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Carl and his wife retired and moved to Post Falls to be close to children and grandchildren.

During his career with DSHS, he was instrumental in the establishment of contracts with Federally Qualified Health Centers (like Heritage) throughout the state of Washington.

Whereby millions of federal funds were provided to the state for outreach to people in need of Medicaid coverage. He has worked closely with FQHCs from 1974 as a Child Protection social worker and an administrator and feels that being on the Board at Heritage gives him a chance to pay back for services provided to our communities in health care and social support.
