Amanda graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors of Science in Family & Consumer Sciences, Dietetics Option. She has been a dietitian for 10 years, starting as a consultation dietitian in skilled nursing and psychiatric facilities in central Florida before transitioning back home to Idaho to work in enteral nutrition for six years. She has been with Heritage Health since summer 2020. Specializing in nutrition and dietetics with knowledge in a variety of disease processes and weight management methods. From diabetes to IBS to high cholesterol, she works with it all.
Her style of helping is patient-centered and meet people where they are as far as level of readiness. While education concepts and topics are the same for many, the approach and implementation vary person to person. Some visits may result in a general education overview; others may focus on one small, specific goal that will improve someone’s wellness at a larger level.
In her spare time she spends time friends and family with her husband, daughter and labradoodle! In the summer you will find her at the lake.
