Counseling Services

Family Support Services was founded on the belief that each person deserves the opportunity for a better future.

We believe that each person is a unique and valuable individual. It is our goal to help clients of Family Support Services discover their potential and strive to reach their full potential. This partnership uses an integrated care model, focusing on the coordination of care with medical providers. Our first and foremost goal is to offer and provide excellent, affordable support services to individuals and families of North Idaho.

The services we provide are integrative and community-based with the objective of providing easy access to those seeking services. We work collaboratively with the existing services in each community of supportive mental health care services. We believe in the value of family and seek to provide the highest quality for the clients who enter our programs and for their families. We believe in the importance of relationships and social responsibility.

We also believe in the importance of limits applied consistently and fairly. We affirm measurable growth occurs as a result of therapeutic relationships and community interactions. We accept into services a wide range of clients with a wide variety of service needs, providing easy access to those seeking our services. We work cooperatively with other community entities, counselors, educators, and consultants to develop improved networks of services for our clients. We believe we are an integral part of the North Idaho community and that we must be responsive to the needs of the community.
