Nutrition

Ignore the next fad diet and get the facts from our team of nutrition experts!

Dieting is a short term process, which over and over has proven to be ineffective. Instead, learn how to shop, cook, and eat for a healthier life! With innovative strategies like the new “My Plate” model, it’s easier than ever to develop long term healthy eating habits. Our Nutrition based Shared Medical Appointments are designed to help patients learn about the proper role of nutrition in a weight loss plan, along with strategies to help curb emotional or stress related cravings.

All patients should first have an individual consultation with their Heritage Health Provider prior to scheduling an SMA.
